Scientist/Analyst for Imaging Spectroscopy and Data Exploitation

Scientist III to Principal level scientist with skills in data processing and imaging spectroscopy applied to algorithm development for remote sensing and reconnaissance applications. Demonstrated ability to implement existing and develop new feature identification algorithms required. Capabilities in calibration of Visible to Thermal Infrared hyperspectral and multispectral data, correction for atmospheric attenuation, and algorithm development for feature identification highly desirable. Experience working with real-time processing algorithms highly desirable. Experience with multi sensor data fusion a plus. Programming capabilities in a scientific (i.e. IDL or MATLAB) or computer language (i.e. C/C++) required. Five years directly applicable experience required. Good written/verbal communication abilities a must. BA/BS in appropriate field required, MS or PhD preferred. Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
